@SlimePower, you are correct! The Duke, Madeleine, favors and adores his youngest daughter and knows the Royal Family is full of jerks and so doesn’t want her to end up there. He doesn’t care about Olivia and so sacrificed her instead. They have a marriage agreement that says daughter of Madeleine, which is why he went to find Olivia in the first place.
And it’s like with every one of these types of stories; they think the FL is just throwing a tantrum (when she’s never been that type) or playing hard to get. Also putting someone else in the position is, in part, to try and inspire jealousy, but also force Duke Madeleine to move and take Olivia back, without the Royal Family dirtying their own hands or having to ask Olivia to come back themselves
I don’t quite get it. Why take Marie as fiancé when your aim is to get Olivia back. Wouldnt that aggravate the situation? Am I misunderstanding it wrong? Isn’t Olivia’s family house more important than the mistress so what value would that engagement be? Unless it’s just a ruse until he has Olivia where he wants her. I mean I don’t see how a crown princess position is something a mistress, already defiled woman could easily claim.
what i’m looking at is something like a haggle in buying things… you know the pulling back tactics that makes you show you don’t want it so the seller calls you back to offer a lower price?
i think thats this clown royals want to achieve because they think they are really up in the clouds and everyone wants to have connection with them…
but i might be wrong tho
.
and it seems(just my opinion) the royals also hold a weakness of FL’s trash father… that’s why he kinda afraid of them
nymeriawolfe
