This story repeats the same pattern over and over again – the female lead allows people to slander her (or even provokes this herself) up to the point that they demand her death (which is super risky, because what if one or more of them is/are so riled up that they attack her all of a sudden?), and then she somehow “proves” her innocence in a not-very-convincing way actually. And suddenly she is totally praised and admired by everyone?
What’s with the saintess right now??? How’s her condition, what type of rose exactly did she touch? Why doesn’t the female lead prove right here and now that she can summon roses that cannot trigger the curse? And where’s that top perfumer who created the rose scent without using roses?
In our world, it’s not so easy to convince the masses of something, but after they are convinced, it’s even harder to make them change their minds.
