So WAS the tea poisoned or not? Why did the female lead act like she was poisoned at all, and where did the stains on her head come from (they didn’t look like tea…)?
Why is the sister of the evil duke afraid of him (and her own maids in his service), when she’s the freaking EMPRESS? She could simply tell her husband about her brother’s plot and the emperor could have all the evil people from her family killed, end of story.
Also why would that evil duke enchant that vase for a large sum of money with eavesdropping magic and give it to the female lead in the first place – wouldn’t such a super precious item be put into a vitrine or even into a treasure room somewhere, where nobody would ever get close enough to talk about anything important that the duke would want to know?
