Oooooh, the drama! *facepalm* Why did the duke even have to fake being poisoned if they planned to reveal the evil deeds of the “Duchess” anyways?
Why did the female lead even wait for so long while letting the Duchess spout all her nonsense and even let the guests start murmuring slander?
Why haven’t the children been freed as soon as the female lead learnt of them, but instead had to suffer for a longer time just so that they could be “presented” at the right moment at this party?
So who was that “nanny” who was fired? The one who witnessed the fairy curse (that we now know was in reality a fairy blessing) was definitely this Disney witch, even her name (Eliza) was mentioned in chapter 5, where she was still the maid of the female lead’s mother, Beatrice. Beatrice’s death by “shock” and that of her unborn child were said to have been caused by the “fairy curse” too…
