Yeah, I understand, but he’s helping her now, so I think that itself is good. A good Stepping stone for him hopefully he helps her in the long run since his other brothers useless…
BUT WHERE is my goldie blonde hair prince!!
They were both children and he was a child who thought the girl living with them was a replacement for his little sister. In his mind, so long as she was there, his real sister would never be there. You can’t judge a child with adult standards because they do not consider things the same way
@xnaysilvousplait look I’m not completely trying to take his side or dismiss things or say he wasn’t in the wrong, but he himself just admitted that he thought that but he was wrong. That no one in the mansion knew her or seemed to care, and that things aren’t as he originally thought. He was ALSO a child when he framed her, it doesn’t excuse her, but it is different than you make it seem. He was a little boy, who framed a little girl for theft.
😭 this is why Reynold has the best redemp arc ever. He didn’t dismiss any of the horrible things and sincerely apologised 😭😭😭 and he GENUINELY cares for her 😭😭😭
I think what makes Siyeon so special and endearing as a possessor MC is that *she* doesn’t forget about the original Penelope. Even when the apologies touch her, her inner monologuing always makes clear that true forgiveness can simply never be achieved because the person who should receive the apologies is already gone. Possession does leave an unpleasant after taste since it was someone else’s body first, so the mc’s and stories that just move on without any explanation of what happened to the original feels even worse.

Reynolds has high tier character development and top tier character redemption in my reading list

Finally… Our Penelope deserves so much better 😭💙

Leave that 💩 place. She always gets what she wants, my ass. This is rich coming from a guy who framed a little girl for theft.
