yes! Most of the new ones are just re-re-recicled stories with the tiniest difference in story and usually very shallow story with no world building and a lot of plotholes, and a lot of the good ones that are still running are finishing U_U

He gets kinda clingy after everything that happened because he gets really really scared and insecure about Penelope leaving him again but in the end decides to let her pursue her dream anyways.
