Ummm @Samiee…eclise legit wanted to kill her (and trust me, he is kinda crazy) Penelope might have manipulated him a bit, but she treated him well and never intentionally hurt him, on the other hand eclipse (I have given up fighting autocorrect lol) goes behind her back several times and ultimately betrays her
Don’t see the reason why people hated Ecklis from the start just because of the spoilers. He probably betrayed in the end, but is it only his fault though? The fl is to blame partly too. Had she taken care of him, visited him more often instead of just giving him presents so that she could use him, Eclis’ favorability would have increased. I don’t ship him and fl, she can have the crown prince. But i wish she took care of Eclis more
i forgot the link where i read this .. but the hidden antagonist is Yvonne.. she’s a member of a cult who worship a bad dark goddess andseh had a mission to bringthe goddess to their world which will make killed a lot people… and Penelope is a great mage who tries to warn the king, and the capture targe tbut that goddess has cursed penelope so everybody will think of penelope as a very vicious villainess… because of the curse the capture target were brainwashed so they never really hear the warning until it was too late the goddess almost destroy the world and penelope the mage is dead…but vinter woke up from the brainwashed state of loving yvonne, and he really regret helping yvonne, so vinter used some elaborate magic to turn back time and by that try to salvage penelope’s soul, which end up making penelope’s soul transmigrated and born in modern day korea… but the curse were branded on her soul so her half brother hates her, and her biological father neglect her and no matter where she’s born people will be wary of penelope… feel free to correct me.. oh i need to add that eclipse symbol is black rose which describe as obsession not love… to the point he betray penelope because he was the one who brought back the antagonist home in this timeline so penelope will lose her status and position in eckart and can only rely on him .. i always know the more obedient eclipse the more suspicious he is.. turns out he is the small hidden antagonist… but he try to atone by protecting penelope when the goddess’ pet a gold dragon attacking penelope.. he died…
Her relationship with Ecles is really dangerous at this point
She ignores the life she has built and blindly follows this darn system that has betrayed her numerous times
