in the novel the og penelope had the blood of ancient wizards in her (thus why she can use magic) and she was the only one who knew yvonne was evil…but everyone thought the og penelope was just jealoys and trying to kill off the real lady (and yvonne isn’t really yvonne, her body is possessed and yvonne’s real soul is in eternal time out or something…)
