@Leleuwu finally someone who truly understands her, I really don’t get why some readers are calling her names when she’s just literally trying her best to survive, also about that guy, Eclis he never really gave me “good vibes” the first time I read this (this is my second time reading this story and mind u that I did not have any spoilers read when I first read this and the chapter was just up until 80-90 so I never really knew his schemes until a few days ago)

Honestly, I agree but I think that’s the point. The bird is so similar to her and it’s crying and suffering in a gilded cage hardly able to move. It’s almost an insulting gift like saying accept your cage already to her but not with that much cleverness b/c Derek is a single minded jerk and has no care for Penelope as her own person.

She for sure is better than he is, if you did not read the novel, then dont trust all the spoilers you saw out there. Since the begining Penélope had been trying to survive, and will continue to do so, i have seen many of you blaming her for being a bitch, but i am so glad she is, ecklis from now on is just going to do shit, when you think hes done, trust me, hes not. I do feel sorry for him tho, because all he does, is actually Yvonne’s doing behind the brainwash. But till the end, Penny is just surving her own way, and i dont think she is to blame for that

I hate him now and I’ll hate him even more later on. He’s genuinely trying to “buy” her. What a joke. The novel never gave him another love interest but it’ll probably be a political marriage. I hope he chokes on it. I hope he suffers til death watching FL and her children and grandchildren be happy without him.
