You guys… With that mentality he’s never gonna be happy even if he does end up with fl he will always feel insecure when she’s around other guys… And penelope doesn’t even love him she’s seducing him to leave the game. To her every character she’s met is just an npc or love interest. So even if eclis gets fl he’s never going to be truly happy and as a novel reader (spoiler) – I don’t really like him.
Ikr @Channel12— and @Heypeeps, his betrayal is understandable, well at some point. We can’t really put all the blame towards Eclise alone, Penelope has some share on it too. If only she treated Eclise with more sympathy, if only she considered Eclise as someone with his own feelings and emotion— they won’t step that far. On the other hand, Eclise’s obsessive tendencies were destructive. But we can’t really say Eclise fell for her alone, Penelope made him like her. It’s both— ugh poor Eclise, poor Penelope 😭😭😭😭😭😭
She is treating him almost exactly like how the Duke treat her. Ignoring him for long period of time, give expensive gifts and words of love occasionally. Arouse jealousy and mistreatment with those gifts. Total power over their physical existence. It make sense that the Duke is her only role model for lack of a better (love). She is reenacting the Duke’s behavior to Eclise
I dont know about teaching the yandere how to fight better, I feel like he only changed his mind because he might be looking to fight the crown prince or at least be on his level
