I agree with all the comments. Of all characters, i love amd pity Eckles the most. I used to ship him with fl, but I’m kinda annoyed how she doesn’t even care about him. She gives him gifts and all hut that’s all formality. Just let him be free.

I can’t stand the FL or the way she treats Eckles(annoying that whomever did these keep messing his name up) like a tool and not a damn person. The FL keeping this attitude that she’s still playing a game and that everyone else is just some trash characters instead of people like this isn’t the reality that she’s living in (even though she’s always freaking out about dying) is friggin infuriating. Yes, her adoptive family in the new world fucked up but they aren’t like the family she had back in her own world. She makes excuses for the real Penelopes actions, pities her, and is angry about how she was treated. She feels sympathy for her and treats her like a human. BUT she refuses to understand or feel any sympathy for a father and his sons actions after losing the real little sister? The man lost his damn daughter and they lost their sister for christs sake. Then she makes excuses for the real Penelope wishing for the real daughter to die or never come back and gets mad that Reynold started treating Pene really bad after hearing her ask for that ON THE DAY SHE WAS LOST! These boys were grieving their sister and had a girl that looks like her shoved in front of their faces. How can you not sympathize with them even a bit?
I know the fl has her trauma and yes, they did treat the girl bad but they could have kicked Pene out at any time before the fl took her over and they never did(game storyline or not).
The dad even gave a diamond mine to keep the girl out of prison for what she did. If this was a reddet story vote it would be an ESH but mostly fl, in my opinion.
I hope this attitude changes and she treats Eckles better at least. If not, I’m going to stop reading it.
