@Mochamie The OG storyline started with him killing the empress so he could take OG FL as a concubine so I’m unsurprised they glossed over the empress’s situation in the palace (because she was dead)

I mean.. tbf, she did say that the og story never mentions anything about the empress other than something to allow her to know there was one so makes sense that the bullying from the maid and the marquis isn’t mentioned. The og angie was a no named background character who was simply another piece to add to tell the story of the emperor’s ruthlessness and how deep his obsession went, there would be need to tell how the empress lived in the palace when she would be a faded face in the background. Tho I imagine there is a difference already atm.
