it was kinda hard to understand because of the translation, but after reading the chapter again I think I understand how she escaped. She started to scream to be saved, that she would do anything to be saved and the soldiers called the higher ups, apparently because of that she got a deal, since she was willing to do anything to escape the death row instead of keeping her noble dignity, the higher ups told her that they would release her if she accpeted her faults and exhile, so she was expulsed from her family and the empire, they took aways her noble status, and was punished with some whipping too. Now she’s a commoner with no money or status, exhiled out of the empire
