@TypicallyUsual that was way better than what I thought my guess was that someone might have stolen the necklace after 200 years of being in the vault and replaced it with one that looked identical and he was reincarnated as a result like maybe they used it to summon him because they needed him or something idk my theory sounds stupid now(╥﹏╥)
Here’s my guess: The moonlight sword is sealed inside of that necklace by Vermouth or Sierra. They kept the necklace out of respect for their friend, then altered the memories of that necklace so that people would think of it as a useless trinket. They probably knew the sword was too dangerous to be released into the world, or maybe it was part of the promise with the two demon kings.

I DONT remember that family tree shown earlier but I guess they’re all cousins of the “Main descendant” line.
