Finally the plot seems to be moving. Picked up this series a couple days ago, ever since the wedding arc I feel the plot has kinda been stalling. In season 1 we had Rose as the Antagonist, which she was great at; developing and showing the resolve of our MC Daisy. After that we kinda just met our one of our AC then revisit old plot points, rinse and repeat, that just remind us of things we already know. Without a proper AC the drama so far has felt manufactured and could easily be avoid with a single line of dialogue. I don’t know if the author reads comments, but just because people say Rose or any AC deserves to die doesn’t meant you remove important story elements to satisfy your audience.
I’m surprised that Kilian doesn’t get jealous of how much concern Daisy is showing Zed. He probably knows that Daisy won’t cheat while they have this contract going on. Daisy knows how loyal Zed is, enough to take the fall for murder – he is Kilian’s last line of defense against his family. I do appreciate that even Kilian acknowledges that his loyal dog has grown to adore his wife as well.
