Then came the candy moment which brought traumatic memories back.. nobody kept their promises to her. SHE WAS abandoned with broken promises and a traumatic childhood. Her mother didn’t return, her father left her and that’s why she ate her last candy. now Matthias with eyes like candy feeds her the same candy and she can’t swallow it in or spit it out the same way she couldn’t in the past because this moment would pass. After eating the candy she cried her heart out which she couldn’t all these years because nobody liked crying orphans but Matthias didn’t seem to hate her even when she was crying and that was comforting for some reason. She was finding comfort in the arms of someone already engaged and that weighed on her. 💘

I don’t know but one thing is clear he is the one who opened her past wounds and who would heal it because this is the first time after so many years she remembered something she forgot or closed in her heart but it was eating her from inside but now after crying it out I think it will loosen her heart a bit what she had gone through. That was necessary to finally let go all the past things
