Man the scene is so good in the novel. Kyle cannot contain his feelings anymore and just wants to tell them to Leyla, he’s also anxious that someone will take her away and Literally at that moment Matthias enters and in a way takes her away (by making her do a ridiculous errand) from Kyle (and also forever)
