I think the artist messed up on their scale in that wide shot bc even the bike looks tiny next to him. I don’t think she’s actually supposed to look that small next to him. Just imagine her image a bit more enlarged and it’s normal😂
So this is currently my FAVORITE novel. I’ve read it so many times, it’s ridiculous.

This scene is painted differently in the novel. The manhwa is setting him up a sympathetic angle, like his life is empty and devoid. But, in the novel this is not true. Matthias is rather egotistical. He knows his life is perfect, but being perfect is so easy for him that he finds it boring. Not an “I’m lonely” type of boring, as the manhwa makes it seem. It’s an “I need a challenge” type of boring because life is too easy.
The male lead Matthias is an extremely toxic male. He’s obsessive, possessive, and (possibly) sociopathic. In the novel there is no redemption arch. He doesn’t not feel guilty for all the trigger warnings he sets off in the story. In fact he remains proud and would do it again! In the end His character does not change, he remains the same. The only difference is there is no ‘reason’ to behave as such a psychopath in the end because he gets what he wants.
But I love it. Toxic characters are my favorite thing.
The ml’s mum is stunning woman. And the difference in the height between ml an FL is ridiculous. Why they always draw so disproportionately gigantic man and very small like a child woman…
