I don’t see her being “dumb” at all. To be honest, if the person you love gives you a gift, but then you realize that gift isn’t what it truly is, you would feel betrayed, especially when that person is the person you felt truly affectionate towards after the death of your brother and father. Her reaction is understandable, but it seems like you don’t understand how important trust is in a relationship. I mean, I doubt you have ever been in a relationship to begin with😂
Also, that “woman☕” meme died like 2 years ago, I don’t know who’s truly slow between you and FL

Really hope the story will be not dragging or too slow in the next chapter. Since it’s tiring reading no escalating in their love story. It’s been months they have lived together, yet no more love interaction at all in the storylines…🤞🏾

Just express thru words, action & gesture. All men will do it to win his women’s heart if he is truly interested/falling in love to her (that’s normally men’s doing)
She’s not dumb lol how would feel if you fought a war that started because of your husband faction, so that he could look good after winning it? She saw tons of people dying, including her own soldiers, after being previously on a long war. She has no way of knowing he didn’t give the order himself, and he didn’t clarify that either. The old guy is a close ally of the Prince, it’d be really unusual that he went against his orders.

Prince needs to talk properly and explain things correctly, and she needs to agree to have a conversation with him and listen to his side. But when just finding out about it, ofc she’d be angry and would want to leave to cool down, anyone would be
Ths old bloke has annoyed me so much throughout the novel, he was always impudent, he never payed his respects to Asha, even when she was declared as the rightful Queen of the empire & the only reason that Carlisle tolerated his nasty behavior was because he was his mentor who tought him everything he needed to know as the future King.
