This work is wonderful. And although it takes a while to get to the end because of political issues, it is a very short work with few chapters. I read the novel because I was anxious to know the ending. It is very enjoyable. Read it without fear.

Completely disagree with the comment below. City of Arrogance is a slow burn and it does focus more on the political issues, although not as much as other manhwas (such as Villainess Lives Twice, for example), but the development is pretty clear and the recent chapter proves that they were just building up the plot. It might not be everyone’s cup of tea because it’s more on the political side, but the hype is justified and FL is NOT dumb. Asha is very brave, just and straightforward and that makes her an excellent leader. Unfortunately she doesn’t have much confidence on herself, which is plenty explained by her circumstances. And just because Carlisle (ML) is more complex than she is, doesn’t mean everyone else is 2D. Please just give it a chance, it’s good, I promise.

I read it because of the hype around it.
I still don’t get the hype. It could’ve had a good potential, but it was all wasted.
It’s boring, slow, and the FL is kinda dumb. The ML seems to be the only one that isn’t somewhat 2D.
If you came looking for a strong FL, good side characters, and romance, you came to the Welby place.
Despite having 50+ chaps, there’s barely any progress in the story or in character development.
Conclusion : it’s boring and not really worth a serious read.
