Are you guys insane? He wasn’t just emotionless towards her he was bluntly rude on her..
Being abused doesn’t mean you can go ahead and hurt others feelings as well..
Derek didn’t straight forward tell her that he hates her hanging around him in the first place..
She knows he suffered as a child that is for sure and so she exchanged bodies to cure his curse without him knowing in return..
Her efforts to reach that goal is more than enough for derek it’s not like Irina hurt him in anyway.. his ego was just hurt..

I hope TheFujoshi and literally anyone else who might read this realizes that it really is okay to know and acknowledge that someone was abused and had to cut off their emotions to protect themselves and to also, as a human being, need shows of affection and words of affirmation. Like, obviously this is gonna end with her with Derek because that’s just how this goes, but I want any young girl who might read this to know that it is absolutely alright and acceptable to have emotional needs in a relationship and to leave a relationship that isn’t fulfilling those needs, even if the other party is only doing their best.
