Many scammers would take someone that is “hurt’ then put hands on them and “oh you are cured” and have people pay them and their “healing” will be delayed or they will feel better immediately thanks to adrenaline and the placebo effect which is a big problem when scammers are claiming to be priests staying at local churches and you get local preachers beaten to death for not helping them anymore and essentially getting innocent people killed for some coin.
