FL so far seems dumb like her mum, her character is quite unlikable…she clung on to the guy because he’s rich despite all the red flags…her dad clearly didn’t abandon her, took her to be his heir yet somehow she doesn’t appreciate him, her mum lied to her all her life so far, as a result she had an inferior complex yet she doesn’t blame her mum or get angry at her mum at all! Here character is just too unbelievable author, NQR! Lost me right here…
After seeing this, it’s clear that Terryl knew his boyfriend was a “mama’s boy”, but she decided to ignore the HUGE red flags, and even after he said “mother is the most important person to me”, somehow she is suprised when he told her that his mom was his priority in the 1st chapter, like girl, you knew, don’t be surprised, what were you expecting after he and his other disrespected you over and over again … I understand she was in love, and that she was trying to be understanding, but you saw that coming

Okay I will admit that her ex fiance was in the wrong for not analyzing the situation and blaming her without proof but it’s kinda like those situations where the parent cannot believe their child can do any wrong because they are so accustomed to seeing them innocently so I can let him off a little bit
