It’s interesting and believable explanation on why she can be smart but doing so poorly in life I mean yea it would be within reason that why would they hire some smart rando on the street when a rich dummy can bribe them.

what a beautiful chapter! a slow crawl towards realizing her self-worth, and she didn’t even understand why everything was going so well until they let her know. i like how the father is still strict with her and that she’s made to train in swordsmanship – too many manhwas cop out with “oh the FL needed to train earlier, it’s too late now!” so they rely on the convenience of magic and plot twists in the FL’s favor. i prefer FLs who work hard and the realism of fathers being tough on their kids because they can actually do better <3
