@Iread&talkshit i don’t really care about the mother’s storyline, she did what she did and that’s that. And yeah the dad is the only smart one around here, i mean FL only had 3 years to learn so she probably still hadn’t grasped the art or deception lol, besides ML is sly as heck so can’t blame FL for not noticing.
I think i will stop reading here tho, just cuz i don’t like how ML keeps giving me whiplash over how i like him sometimes but other times thinks he’s just way way too cunning even towards FL
I don’t like the mother she’s dumb and ran away for selfish reasons. She wasn’t in danger she just ran cause she overheard part of a conversation and ended up keeping her daughter away from her father for 20 yrs. The fl has no sense she went from having no confidence to being overly confident. Her fathers right and should be upset she doesn’t know everything. If her mother wasn’t stupid she wouldn’t have raised a stupid daughter who didn’t see how she was getting used from the beginning and it was so obvious. It took money to get her to stop letting people treat her like trash. Her and her mother are both dumb.
I feel like Cesio is a fox but he also used his power to save Terryl’s mom but honestly the way he did it I would naturally feel cheated .
At least he would have told her his plan
In basic titles, MC would “save” the mother, and everyone would be unconditionally happy and pleased.
But in reality, things are different.
He knew that mother was going to be cursed – in which case, he had two options. Either to use his magic to prevent it at all – or not use it at all.
The fact that he used it AFTER it happened was a show, aka “Look at me, your wife almost died but i saved her – am I not such a wonderful guy?”
Obviously, duke would think this as an insult. This is the right reaction to have.. i’m just surprised to see it in a title like this.
chanarek i think its the exact effect.. the lesson from the beginning was that terryl never had confidence.. jemon took it from her. and now thats shes drunk on the power of rihan shes being reckless, doing what she wants.. and now its lead to her standing up for cesio even tho not knowing why cesio did what he did but also telling him she was going to throw him away after her revenge is complete. she doesnt know what she wants after jemon broke up with her. so its definitely confusing, id say, especially for cesio who is slowly developing feelings for her
She’s obviously developing feelings for Cesio too though. And I don’t think she’s necessarily being reckless because she got power. I think this was her personality to begin with, it’s pretty similar to her dad’s. Also in a way it’s in their best interests to take revenge on Jemon to show others that you can’t mess with the Duke or his family.

from what i understand, cesio is able to “see the future” as was shown when he knew that terryl would receive a letter about her mother informing her about her mothers kidnapping. he was able to use his power that is inherited through the imperial family to somehow break the curse, however, instead of being the saviour, they suspect him of being the perpetrator because everything seemed too convenient; he owes a debt to the rihan family and was able to pay it off. cesio is saying that it was just a coincidence/he originally planned to do this without reward which the duke thinks is bs
