Ellie is so smart, perceptive and driven is reserved exclusively for the main character. I love that she has ambitions, thoughts about what she can do to keep her family together, and her character has developed so much from the affection-starved character at the start. She may actually be giving off strong FL vibes than the actual FL.

He reminds me of Theo from my inlaws hahahaha and yes the children here actually act like real children. Not too smart and most of the time childish, but extremely perceptive or sensitive on certain points, just like real children. They’re not just cardboard characters.

I cannot express how much I like this story. It actually makes sense rather than a lot of other similar childcare stories. The pacing is good, the romance doesn’t feel forced or rushed, and there is still the mystery and other stuff (like the romance) we can anticipate for even after the FL tells about her past to the ML. Usually with these stories the moment characters actually start communicating the story is practically over and it becomes a slife-of-life kind of manwha. Lots of authors also can’t seem to write children just being children and acting their age. With this one we can clearly follow how all the kids are maturing and starting to have their own personalities and aspirations. The story also focuses on all the children rather than having the attention be only on Brielle which is something I feel the other manwhas are always missing.
All in all, I just really like this story so far 10/10 <3
