   If you can find in your heart to get over the art -lacking at times, to say the least-, the story is nice and has enough twits to get you interested until the end… plus the fact I share name with the FL made me laugh with how similar my character is to hers at times XD

   after posting my comment below, i realized how long it was lol you can read it if you want to ig but if you don’t, to sum it all up the story is good but its not anything extraordinary so i recommend it to you if you’re looking for something to pass time. It doesn’t exactly give you that satisfying revenge like most revenge manhwas but its alright. 6/10.

   i haven’t read the entire thing yet so this is not a full in-depth review. This is just my impression 33 chapters in.
   Let’s start with the general problems I have with this story.
   The translation is not too bad, but it can be unintelligible sometimes and cause me to get easily confused. And the art isn’t “horseshit” like the comment below says, yet its not a masterpiece either. I personally have no problems with the art because I truthfully can’t draw for shit so I’m not going to be too judgy on that aspect.
   This is just another opinion of mine but the romance feels a little too rushed and sort of forced. Like the FL gets feelings for him only a couple chapters in, and I’m more of a “slow burn but not too slow” type of person.
   I really like the personality of the FL, she has her annoying moments like all FL’s but its not unbearable. She’s strong and quick-witted, she’s not your stereotypical helpless FL. She is great at battle strategy and is actually useful in combat, unlike the weak and naïve FL’s these days.
   If you’re looking for a story with a new twist to it and to be something you’ve never seen before then I don’t want to get your hopes up.
   I really like the “Beauty and the Beast” concept and how its used, but it has its own share of basic clichés. Literally like every single reincarnated FL, she had nothing in her previous life. No family. No friends. No lovers. Not even a stable job. And when she was reincarnated, she also had nothing. No friends, no (good) family, no lover, but she had money so I guess that’s better than before.
   And the curse is quickly lifted by the second or first chapter so its not as if the readers are able to see that process, therefore she is a beauty throughout most of the story.
   Currently, the ML, aka the duke, is not exactly special to me.
   Like every other ML, he’s expressionless and distant, he is also hated and somehow overpowered. Other than that, he has very low self-esteem and is mentally weak. So he kinda lacks individuality and blends in with the crowd.
   I can’t really describe his personality because frankly i cant tell you, he just isn’t interesting alone. I would really like it if his past was shown and he was seen doing something separate from the FL, it feels like he’s just there to be a good and obedient lover for her.
   However, i don’t hate him and he is an overall good male lead who cares for the female lead.

   As for the villains, i feel like they’re not villains but people who interfere with the story. That is what a villain is but less evil, in short, they are kind of mediocre. The king is just a useless, whiney, little boy with a bad temper who can’t manage a kingdom for shit.
   Princess Ariel is your typical two-faced bitch who acts angelic at first glance yet has many sinister plots. I don’t know what her deal is. The story makes it seem like she despises her sister and only wants to humiliate her, but then at other times she is like “why don’t you tell me anything?” “pay me more attention” blah blah blah, so does she hate her sister? who knows.
   There really isn’t any depth to the characters at all, I can’t sympathize nor hate them completely. They feel like drawings, which they are, but you’re not supposed to feel that way with a character. They’re just villains ripped out of your basic “reincarnated revenge love story”.
   The only characters with a little relevancy to the plot is the female and male lead.
   I know its used to build suspense, but I wish Ariel could be a little more obvious with her plans.
   For instance, the readers can see her actively trying to constantly ruin alexa’s life.
   At the moment, Ariel is just your average hoe lol

   It may seem like I’m shitting on this story but I’m not. It’s enjoyable and sometimes comedic. I wouldn’t say its comparable to my favorite manhwas such as “Beware Of The Villainess” and “Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess” but overall its a good read and I will continue reading it 😀
