They actually drew the horses really nice. Probably used a Morgan/Thoroughbred horse for reference. If it was Arabian the horse would have a more distinctly arced neck and a small dainty triangle head.
Its not that the art failed, its just that about 90% of artists don’t know how to draw horses, or they take too much time so there just like “do the bare minimum soldiers!”
