Honestly, I don’t know why she wants her body back. First of all, what authority or military support does she have? No one is on her side, especially at the imperial palace. She even lacks the mental strength to be able to hold an entire kingdom on her back. Second of all, if her sisters are alive then her life will possibly be targeted due to her rights of succession. Third of all, she’s useless. She has no abilities, she can’t do swordsmanship, she has absolutely nothing as a human.
She has so many benefits as a bird. She can fly and go anywhere in the world, the kingdom has offered her nothing but trauma she can just abandon it, it’s fine. It’s not as if she has any intentions to rule. She can fly away from danger and avoid arrows much easier. She doesn’t have to fear for her life all the time. And if she stays by the humans, she can be fed and survive fine as a messenger bird. It’s just pointless to become a human when you literally have nothing to offer in that form. I must clarify that I’m not hating on her, just to avoid potential backlash.
