This is the 9th chapter and thus far Bastian still hasn’t redeemed himself as a likeable character. He literally barged into a room where he wasn’t allowed and then had the gal to demand a guest to leave the mansion immediately, COMPLETELY forgetting the fact that he was also a guest.
AND WHY IS LUKE/LUCREITA SUCH A PUSHOVER!!! You’re (somehow) engaged with Bastian and yet you’re allowing him full control already over everything and everyone!!! WHO DOES THAT?!
Y’all really don’t get it-
Bastian is a narcissist, selfish, stuckup, rude, smart-mouthed, overly confident, scummy, trashy, etc. But that’s the best part of it all. He’s so bad, that it’s actually good. Like- I dunno about you all, but I find his personality and behaviour to be funny and as I mentioned before, he’s a perfect match with Luke who doesn’t take anything he says to heart. Anyways, I really hope he doesn’t change at all~ I find a self-centered protagonist like Bastian kinda refreshing so i really don’t want him to change!! Or maybe it’s just my slightly twisted taste in characters? Either way, right now Bastian is definitely my favorite male protagonist. And for everyone who doesn’t like Bastian’s terrible character, then please drop the manhwa and never pick it back up~~ Don’t even read with the hopes of Bastian becoming “better” because…. I don’t actually have a reason, just cuz reading those types of comments really pisses me off. But tbh, they’re probably right and he might change in the future. But, for now, let’s just enjoy and appreciate how trashy Bastian is! 😉

I agree I enjoy the ‘style’ of trashy he is it’s not as satisfying to drag things out over stupidity and naivete, Instead having the plot be guy who is at home with being a jerk develop into a jerk with standards is a nice touch. Plus she has some crow like tendencies which somewhat make sense of her quick to take shiny things * like him * it’s less pushover more instinct.
You should read FFF class trash hero, he’s not just trashy he’s the whole dumpster. But I like him cuz I understand his feeling lol, after all the bs he endure its make sense he’s so trashy.
something about that reveal is satisfying ? I hope its true. it’ll bring that guy down a few pegs. He’s so unlikable as a romantic interest. He’d make an interesting friend but thats it. hope he develops so much before she accepts him as a love interest.
