Love this! As a crybaby myself, I commiserate with Cat (love that nickname, kitty too of course). Ghost dad made me laugh and I really like the prince’s modern language. It also made me laugh. But I REALLY LOVE how the artist pulls the emotions out of these characters. Like, I can feel Edwins desperation. Simply wonderful 👍
@Achin_Achin 👍agree although I don’t think they can be considered friends yet. Rather, I think he’s used to pushing people away and keeping them at arms length, but he can’t do that with her because he needs her. Because of that he can’t use his usual abrasive script and we get to see who he really is underneath that – someone who cares about others.
Just to give a different perspective, I don’t think the ml in “in love” yet, you may have forgotten that our ml just recently knew about our fl so instead of “love” what he is showing is “care”. For someone who is longing for death a few chapters ago, when our fl gets acquainted with him, I think he sees her as a “friend”. I don’t know why but even though the fl is “in love” I simply think that they’re friends for now in the midst of his despair. It’s truly marvelous how the author portrayed it that way, cause unlike other stories, the ml usually blushes while taking “care” for the fl but our the ml rather portrays a different character. And that’s why I love how the story is knitted, wouldn’t it be boring if the ml would fall in love too just because the fl confessed her love for him? I think what is portrayed here is a pinch of realism, someone can’t just fall in love because he got a love confession however, he may reciprocate this feeling along the process. Hehehe this is but my observation folks.
