I don’t understand why she thinks telling the prince would affect his feelings. He only knew Rosalie peripherally through Sonia prior to the possession. It would be one thing if they had been best friends from childhood, but as it stands he was friends with Sonia and only showed up at Rosalie’s because Sonia asked him to. Rosalie also did everything she could to keep him out of her spat with Sonia, so I really don’t see why this should be an issue.
