Okay, maybe the north Korean propaganda thing was a leap but, you gotta admit. It was weird to suddenly pretend Korea to be currently at war with the US. South Korea and make obvious that they’re at war with the US. Kinda weird for the author to put that there specifically.

FL is definitely bad ass, but there are a lot of times where she’s just bad or just an ass. If you want a bad ass FL who kinda has only one expression and is insane about the military, this is for you. She’s cool and I hate the OGFL, so that’s good. She’s a great tactician and fighter, but the author making it political is weird. It feels like North Korean propaganda. It’s very subtle.

Korea has never been at war with the US so I’m not sure what the animosity is with this made up demonization of the west. also, the sweet romance between her and the ML is kinda too sickeningly sweet for me. The characters, apart from her and the ML, are lacking because they’re all cliche caricatures.

I don’t know why she assumed that the bomb in the first chapter is from the US. Like what? Why? Why demonize the west when the setting for your novel is the West? I feel like the author is a bit racist, and this is from a fellow Asian girl
