That is something I have done myself as a writer. My aunt would by me notebooks and pens and her words to me was “you never know when an idea will hit you.” I know may writers and poets who walk around with their work for that exact reason.
Let’s not forget the time Eminem put out that reward to find his notebook when he left it on a bus. Notebook with rap lyrics and other things in it.
