*rubs forehead* How can someone be so… wicked as to get mad that people are living a good life? Yes, she missed the first fourteen years of being in the marquis residence there are a few things she seems to not care about:
1. She was living very well in the house of those merchants. The parents, despite knowing that she was not their real daughter, still treated her as if she was. Yes, they were talking about the misfortunes that had befallen them but she was still treated fine. It wasn’t until she stole those 30,000 silver taels from the residence at FOUR and ran away, that they were done with her. Well… her older brother was since the mother died.
2. The marquis’s residence didn’t always have good fortune. The older brother had been repeatedly poisoned, hurt, framed, and the reason why the FL’s legs are no longer able to work was that she got in the way of a would-be assassin. And really bad fortune would have continued in the ML’s life if the FL’s soul had not transferred into the body of the SIDE character who was doomed to live a horrible life before she died. (I added that last part for the readers, there isn’t any reason for the Qi’er to know any of that)
Qi’er is most definitely an unlucky star who will still bring calamity to all of those around her due to her ill intentions: taking over the marquis’s residence, aiming for riches beyond her reach by stomping on others, trying to destroy Xiang’er simply because she “lived her life” (FL is in a wheelchair and it was due to her hard work and Pinyan’s that they are prosperous now. Need I remind anyone that they were switched when they were newborns? How is any of that FL’s fault?), hateful towards the merchant’s family (only the eldest son is alive now) despite how they treated her lovingly, etc. I cannot wait until she is in ruins… anyone that wicked should not be rewarded with anything but what they truly deserve.
You have strong opinions with the FACTS to back them up. I agree with everything you said. How someone can be so entitled is beyond me. Nothing will ever be good enough for her, and that will ultimately cause her demise.
