I mean, it seems pretty obvious Iseu killed her fiancé the moment he realized she was his life [the way his body was laying in previous flashbacks does not look right, definitely not as though he had protected her from an attack and more like he had been killed facing her]. And I also think he might have damaged her ankle to prevent her from running away from him
