This is the sad reality, we hate the cheater and want them to die but if we read from the perspective of the original FL then we would probably overlook that he cheated on his wife. I’m sorry what did the former wife do wrong exactly? Her husband was having an affair with the maid!!! What was she supposed to just sit by and watch? She loved that piece of trash. She shouldn’t have resorted to attempted murder but she was desperate. Did those three years of marriage mean nothing?! And the female lead is horrible too! Granted the duke probably would’ve cheated eventually but there’s no reason for you to break up a marriage like that. You two deserve each other! I hope the female lead learns the hard way that how you get them is how you loss them. The worst part is that he abandoned his previous wife and their child. You should at least take pay for her living expenses! Who leaves a woman and her child in a prison like that!
