By reading some of comment I really find some stupid people. Some of really hating the OgFL, I wonder do they even understand what happening in the story? They are only focused on main character and others things are blind.
And when did she treated mc as trash? She was only oblivious of mc existence and for this you calling her trash. Is this really your logical explanation?
And why she is dragging mc in this mess, you need to understand OgFL pov, she thinks she was held captive and not getting treated better, and Duke is playing with her and he is forcing her to date with him. If you want to understand her pov you need to read first few ch of how Duke was treating the mc.
I mean, I think the older sister either actually went Stockholm or alternatively was more oblivious to the bad things around her. The MC interacted enough with her to change how she thinks (eg, the “If you’re alive there’s always something you can do” line), so she sees clearly that his love is a possessive and evil mess

also just think rationally – if you were in her position do you really think you would want to stay in the empire? you’re going to want to do what is best, and that includes not abandoning your own sister in the empire that destroyed your home.
Ok as an Manhua Expert here is an explanation. FL Sister whom yaal saying is trash is actually not trash, U see At scene where FL and the sister is at the Cabin and where FL is asking her sister to eat with her the sister prob just said “Oh ill come later i have smth to do” u can see the scene where the sister is in the room with the guy who is her (FL mom) Best friend saying “if you let (FL name here) go this plan is over.” and the girl “Sister” wants to avenge her kingdom so ofc she insist not to let her go since thats the only condition. SO NOW YK 😀✋
It’s weird the author made a story like this that the fl got sent into but I mean…. something must have changed cuz in the original Ingrid did indeed fall for the king and they helped each other grow into better ppl but it’s now changing. I wonder if this is like a butterfly effect. FL not dying and changing some scenes now is making others change paths too. Hmmm…
