oh he sus as fuck yeah. in all fairness, even if he used to be an old friend of the family, he might’ve assumed that the ‘forgotten princess’ was fine so long as she had hot meals and a roof over her head and was probably better off not getting dragged into politics. i don’t know that i would’ve courted treason/kidnapping charges if i thought a kid was growing up in a safe environment either. but being a POW is quite another story.
I don’t know why everyone wants her to escape with this guy. Who ever he is, he seems to know about her and her mother, and yet he ignored FL’s existence for years, caused her to be locked up to begin with and now, weeks after, tries to act as a saviour while basically notifying everyone “hey I’m here”. I mean all the main characters here are not exactly on good terms with logic but isn’t this kinda sus? Or maybe it’s my dislike for characters that barges in into someone’s life and tries to gaslight them into believing they’re the hero, saviour and do everything for their sake (and now you owe them for life) while no one asked them taking…
