Okay, here’s my guess about this whole thing. This Luana treats food as a religion and each plate as an altar. Maybe that’s how her cooking can work around the curse. Even when she asked for daily meals for the royal family, she didn’t seem to do it for any reason other than her belief in eating till you drop, Food is Life, and the concept of supper as a last rite before death or execution. People are saying it was for Irene, but Luana doesn’t really seem to connect with her on a sisterly level and she’s only that ‘FL’ that will survive anyway because of her halo.
Um… where is the nanny? How did she forget about her nanny? Screw feeding her deadbeat family, I’d use my only bargaining chip to get the person who raised me back ?

she shoulda asked for an assistant smh. a sous chef. anybody to help her with this shit. the best dishes require nonstop prep. a well seasoned roast chicken needs to brine for two days. the best oven potatoes need to soak for five days. fermented dishes can take weeks to finish. there’s so much stuff you can and should be making well in advance. meal plans have to be drawn up and followed religiously. pizza dough has to sit for two to three days. the best bread cold-prove and the same goes for pastries. pie dough needs to rest for a full day. cmon girl get it together. get an assistant to chop your veggies, make roux, caramelize your onions. SHE CAN’T EVEN CARAMELIZE HER ONIONS, BOB. A FATE WORSE THAN DEATH
