The FL is too generic. She’s like that “ohhhh I’m about to faint~” person. She’s not even worried about her people, especially her older sister. I feel like she doesn’t care about them at all. While she’s enjoying and cooking her food, her nanny and sister are starving. It doesn’t look like she has a plan especially because of her simple mindedness. Author failed to create a human like character with her own personality. This FL only knows “Delicious”, joy, fear, and anger.
I’m not getting why luana isn’t trying to ask for her sister to be released or anything? Like I get that she doesn’t care about them/ does care somewhat about them…but the entire relationship is weird. Either toss her aside or try and help, the wishy washy attitude is kind of odd.
the guy literally threatens to maim or kill her every day but she is suppose to ask him to save her family? It’s easier to save others when you are you know actually alive. Him having her bath probably isn’t the gesture of kindness you think it is.

From what I read in the previous chapters, it’s her fault the emperor conquered their kingdom in the first place. Shouldn’t she be receiving some kind of backlash from the people of other nobles that lost everything in during the conquest? I just don’t want nobody to say that singer’s had it easy?
Okay,I don’t understand Ingrid..why she’s acting nice to Luana only now,when the whole royal family and their kingdom is in a tragedy??why she did not care for her when everything in their kingdom was still alright??..it only looks suspicious, she’s insisting that the duke should take her instead of Luana…for what? because this tragedy happens because of her? She felt guilty? But I think she’s not,she even said to the duke that even if she’s locked up in the dungeon that would not break her will,…tsk,..how amusing

Big picture story wise, I think FL is trying to win the Duke’s heart with food. She has a right to be scared, because he is the Antagonist of this story currently. From an audience perspective we think of the Duke as the MC instead, which is a story element known as Dramatic Irony. That’s why the misunderstandings are fun to read. Personally I’m hoping we all get the wake up call that the Duke really is the Antagonist when he personally kills the entire royal family except FL of course. Because keep in mind from the Duke’s perspective the Royal Family has legal claim to the land that was conquered. Even if it’s not the Royal Family that directly does it other nobles can bring them in to then legally lay claim to the land and start a rebellion/separatists state.
