The mc literally acts like a kid only because it would be odd to the adults if she acted like an adult and acting like a kid can lull enemies into to complacency since one typically doesn’t expect a kid to kick their ass, physically or verbally or otherwise. Sure she acted a bit older at the school just now but she was trying to pull off the act of a child genius. Plenty of stories with a time regressed/isekaied MC have the mc act their physical age in front of others but act their mental age in private, only showing trinkles of their adult way of thinking when the situations calls for it as an advantage (such as when the mc gets a asshole tutor but outsmarts the tutor to where the tutor gets caught by the adults and fired). Maybe think about the why for such behaviors written before seemingly doing a “hate read”. If you hate it so much, then read something else, read something you’d actually like instead of wasting your own time.
