It’s not that she doesn’t have a personality, hers is just softer, not as dominant, which is why Glen makes a good match for her cause he can provide the aggressiveness that her nature lacks. Side note but you probably don’t like the traditional standard of relationships. And really?? Attacking his love?? Protection, not obsession, is at the very least closer to, if not real love. (Excluding obvious exceptions such as over protection)
Okay. Maybe I’m being too harsh, but I really can’t get into the romance between Glen and Julia. He likes her because she’s sweet and delicate and he feels the need to protect her. Basically, his feeling for her and their relationship is no different from caring for a gerbil or other cute pet. Like, I get that it’s not the point, but I wish she had more personality than just… “Demure”
