Ok this was quite a rollercoaster read, as you can probably tell from the comments below me.
First off, the rating should be 17+ bc it isn’t quite 18 but gets close to it, I just scrolled quickly bc I love the story.
Now for the stats.
Art is 10/10. No question about it. It may be the reason a few of you stayed. It has a semi realistic style while still being clearly manhwa. Worth the read imo just for that.
Story was… polarizing to say the least. I may or may not get kinda close to spoiling here but anyways breakdown analysis (here goes ten minutes of my life) basically ml is arrogant and doesn’t communicate well. Fl is the kind of girl who is nice and kind but still has some pride. Neither of them are good at communicating or admitting their feelings which, let’s just admit it, would have saved a bit of drama. Both of them have flaws and are really stubborn, and more alike than the comment section admitted. The only reason ml is hated on is because he played dirty to get her to let go of her pride and love him, and yeah he’s a bit obsessive. If he didnt have the first quality and a little less of the second, 95% of the readers would swoon at least once (he could stand to be more empathatic as well, but he was an army guy, he’s used to tragedy and cutting losses, especially to save her life) Overall the story itself is engrossing and at times mildly infuriating (you’ll get mad with both of them at least once) and mostly enjoyable. Other than my occasional speed scroll to escape cringe or intimacy lol 10/10
Translation was 10/10. No cap. Elegant and well displayed, I loved it, and it kept the story from becoming confusing that’s for sure.
This is easily one of my new favorites, its unique to other things I’ve read, and the charachters and story has so much depth its hard to read and not be engrossed. I enjoyed it and hope you all do as well!
