I do not agree. He is just being selfish! He goes against her wishes. It’s up to her what kind of medication she wants to take. Of course she should take the medicine rather than dying, I mean that would lead to the babies death anyways. Some people value the life of their children more than their own, and that is fine, it up to them!
I don’t think the choice he made-choosing his wife over the child who isn’t born yet,is immoral or wrong.If I were in his shoes,I would choose my wife without a second thought even if she would resent me later.I can’t give up my wife whom I hold dear for,with whom I have been passing all these years together,just for an embryo whose body is not even fully developed yet.I know I might be hayed fro claiming so but in my opinion,Damien did the right thing in this regard.
