The more I read this the more I dislike Damian. His love for her doesn’t justify him manipulating and deceiving Chloe and her family. I must admit he’s quite smart for planning everything ahead and well it all worked since he got the mine and the woman he loved, and is on his way to becoming the king. His strategies are truly admirable but him as a person no he’s absolutely despicable

I wonder if he knew or if it’s just the author doing a trope. I so badly want this to be an isekai story. I want her to find out about everything and just go live her life the way she wants with that gold mine to take care of her and her family.
