The story definitely had a sinister start. The constant abuse the princess had been facing at the hands of the tyrant king & his maids made it really hard to read at the beginning. One cannot help but feel pitiful. I actually had little hope for the story but the way the ML is showing true concern for the princess & keeps up with her insane behaviour has shown me otherwise. I find it truly commendable. Even his mother who seemed cold at first, is kind to her & she seems to have taken a liking to the princess. One can see the ice breaking between them. The only trash in their family is the cheating jerk of a father.
