Exactly this. She judges people the way she does because of what she went through in her past of always being a doormat. She expects people to always want something from her so the fact that someone is actually doing something for her without any expectation of a return is unfounded to her

I agree it feels slow bc there’s been at least 2 delays already when it comes to posting. The artist is very nice and apologetic over it on twitter, you can tell they’re working hard and not wanting to sacrifice the art quality.
It’s keeping pace with the novel (around ch60 now, keep in mind it’s around 180chapters), which actually has a lot of episodic events. So past the cafe, now the jousting… also artist really kept a lot of the humor and details in novel, with only minor changes. Novel is so good too!

It’s only 50 chapters along, but you’re right, it does feel slow.
Probably, in part, due to so much time spent making a damn cafe and preventing any story from happening…
