The drawings are really good. Sadly the extremely bad translation makes it hard to understand and takes you out of the story. The fact that you have to try and decipher what the right English translation is and what they mean by the words association takes way too much time and it makes the story less appealing. I hope that for the next season and chapter there will be a proficient English speaker doing the translation because right now it feels like even Google translation would do a better job, its as if it was automated or done by someone who doesn’t know a lot of English sadly.
The first part when Thierry and another man arguing because the horse race bet, think of it like Thierry deceiving the other guy with the horse they should put the bet on.
The part with the princess, she wants to ditch class to join Isidore give a tour to Deborah. But if she ditch another class, she will be expelled from academy.
Basically, the rewards for the winner from spring festival will receive any chaperone they choose among older ladies. Isidore become this year winner so naturally he will get the chaperone advantage. Since he is a male aristocrat, he doesn’t need it, so he give away the prize to Deborah for choosing a chaperone when she is making her debutante.
This translation makes me frustrated. It’s chaperone not protector 😭 too many parts need to proofread beforehand. Should I join them translator team? 😭
