He is so f-ing twisted, his behaviour makes me scream in frustration. “You should hang on to me more” like no dude, no. She was being honest and tried really hard to show you she’s changed, but you just spit hurtful things at her whilst staying in a hurt victim role which wasn’t yours to begin with, since it was her country that got invaded and she had to move somewhere completely unknown to her with no familiar faces around her. So excuse you and sober up! Be more appreciative that she’s changed and is trying to show you more warmth. She even apologised for gods sake. Hmpf. Frustrating dude >.>

If the ml was more honest I think there might have been some changes . only love can’t solve all problems communication,mutual respect ..key aspects for successful relationship ….I think the ml needed to understand y she behaved marrying the person you defeated is like a abuse ..but she’s not the same person so. I honestly would prefer to read abt the OG villainess at this point and not the FL. It feels like she’s trampling on the the OG Irwin’s (justifiable) hatred towards the empire by begging for their forgiveness.
Her country was defeated, she was forced to marry her “attacker” because he fell (one side) in love with her beauty, not even with her for her own personality, and on top of that he thinks it’s normal that she should be fall in love with him in 4 years because he’s nice to her.
